Welcome to my Dolomites Gallery
Let me take you on the journey I experienced in 2022 with Samuel Scicluna, Mads Peter Iversen, and ten other amazing photographers from around the world. To describe this trip as epic is an understatement. The Dolomites are a magnificent area of the world to be in, surrounded by majestic, towering mountains that live and breathe with the ever changing environment. From brilliant sunrises and sleepy sunsets to stormy evenings, we experienced it all and captured it for your enjoyment.
It is difficult to describe the emotions you feel being amongst these landscape giants, but believe me to be at one with nature on this scale is something else.
I hope my photography has done it justice and you begin to feel the attachment that I now have for this UNESCO protected region.

Dolomites at sunset from the Rifugio Lagazuoi

Rich colours showcase the Dolomites at sunset

The rich sunset clips Cinque Torri and the ridge beyond casting a shadow on the slopes of Monte Antelao before finally showcasing Monte Antelao's peak.

Sunset from the Rifugio Lagazuoi at 2752m altitude. Translucent mist nestles in the valleys as a prelude to the Marmolada Glacier beyond.

Layers of light add to the mystique and vastness of the Dolomites as an incredible UNESCO World Heritage site

The intense radiance of color is unimaginable

Stunning sunset view of Tre Cime di Lavaredo from high above the saddle with the moon beginning to show above the peaks. The three peaks from east to west are Cima Piccola, Cima Grande, and Cima Ovest and are one of the best know mountains in the Alps.

Rifugio Locatelli.

Stark contrasts of color and texture exemplify the complexity of nature in this sunrise shot of jagged mountains amidst a soft rolling green foreground

Tre Cime from the opposing side at sunrise gives a different perspective

Tre Cime late afternoon....getting close to sunset with the beautiful Chiesetta Alpina in the foreground with flickers of light clipping the grasses. The bold and stunning structure of Tre Cima Ovest and Grande soaking up the last of the sun.

The setting sun shines brightly on Cima Grande's north face of the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo from high above the Rifugio Locatelli.

Monte Paterno across a reflective Laghi dei Piani

Menacing dark clouds hover over the peaks and puffy white blankets envelope the valleys below as a precursor to the coming storm at Cinque Torri.

The storm brews fiercer across the valleys from Cinque Torri.

Beautiful wildflowers carpet the foreground as the sun rises behind Cinque Torri.

In the shadow of Cinque Torri a lone stand of trees bathes in the early morning warmth from the rising sun.

Sunrise at Baita Segantini - just missed more colour in the sky by seconds! A beautiful and dramatic part of the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Dolomites.
